Steel Spring

The steel spring protector provides a special element to allow greater energy flow between the cell and the engine. Note: For the experimenter, a low budget alternative is to wrap this transfer hose in aluminum foil, which will work equally, if not, better than the steel spring protector. To get really fancy, one could wrap in aluminum foil, and then place the steel spring over the aluminum for durability and protection, or use a bare copper over the aluminum wrapping.
